I have always been full of lust- as I am now- but I have always been placing conceptual obstacles in my own path.

Today I met rock and roll photographer Anastasia Pantsios. Anastasia is best known for covering artists such as Bowie (she took the photo pictured above!), Joan Jett, Tina Turner, Janis Joplin, Patti Smith, Springsteen and so much more. Such a cool person to meet! She’s covered so much history. Anastasia is currently exhibiting at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I’ve finally arrived back home from a long weekend stay in Chelsea. My excursion consisted of an arduous amount of art intake at VOLTA, The Armory, the Indepedent, The New Museum, MoMA and PS1. Saturday I spent most of my day in Chelsea gallery crawling where most of the highlights of the weekend took place.
Last summer I saw Marina Abramovic’s retrospective at MoMA however I didn’t get to sit with her. Well lo and behold Marina and I crossed paths as I walked into a gallery in Chelsea. Not only did we intensely stare at each other I believe we had a biblical moment. Marina’s presence was so powerful. Fathom Angelica Houston but the stoic version of her, if even possible (well yes it is! its M.A.). So after visually love making with my home girl I later saw Tracey Emin which was cool since she’s on my list of faves (no love though). I also went to a bar that Abe Lincoln and Lennon drank at AND I am now a proud owner of a piece of Terrence Koh.
Thanks NYC!
