A trip to the optometrist never fails to leave me slightly tormented with that contraption that pokes at your eye  like an alien would if it were probing a human. Don’t we have enough technology to avoid having to have air puffs shot at our eyeballs and acid drops that give me beer goggles without the booze?! And to think I once wanted to be an optometrist. Ha!
