Saw Lykke Li last night at Central Park. From the minute she walked out draped in a black cape-like top covering her face, channeling many witchy vibes, Lykke gave a powerful and moving performance. The beat of the drums, the movement of her arms, the way she prowled the stage gave off the vibe she was casting spells on the entire audience.

pies ‘n thighs

Explored Greenpoint with my friend Gabby most of Saturday. For lunch we stopped at Pies ‘n Thighs. You have not lived till you’ve had chicken and waffles folks. For dessert: sour cherry pie with whipped cream.

I’ve always enjoyed looking at the playfulness of an Alexander Calder mobile. Today, google has dedicated their background image to one of his works- and it moves just like in real life!
