tonight i took my second run in the neighborhood. i decided i’m really going to make a genuine effort to implement a run everyday into my lifestyle. running around the hood has allowed me to discover little niches, treasures, that make bed-stuy so full of magic. i was stopped today by a gallery window on dekalb ave next to what looked like some sort of generic chicken joint. as i stared perplexed and intrigued a couple of street guys started talking to me about it. they told me about the great paintings they’ve seen through the window. the gallery looked ghostly but i decided to pull the door open and so i met jacob and jon.

too much is going on right now, all in good ways but I’m overwhelmed. so I’m skipping French class. time to take care of myself. au revoir mon ami.

That movie was AMAZING and breathtaking and I might have even cried a little at one point. It solidified my move to NY too btw..

Every time I go to see visit them in Belgium they have more advice, but the phrase I always keep in mind is to always be honest and work hard, you will get what you deserve.
