I believe taking care of oneself is of utmost importance. Watching my parents age is both beautiful and horrifying at the same time. I want them to be perfect, after all, they’re my parents. Where would I be, what would I do, without them? So it is my duty to encourage upon them good health while embracing the magic that is to grow older both mentally and physically. Today I had a moment with my mother. I grazed my fingers through her thick dark hair in amazement of the gorgeous silvery strands sprinkled throughout. “I love it” I said. She responded with a gleeful “I know, I like it.”
