Life is strange to say the least but the precious time we do have with it it’s important to recognize all the good people and things that are a part of ours. Recently a respected faculty member of my university passed away. While I didn’t know him personally I can feel how the mood has been affected by his passing away. A fellow staff member sent the message below. It touched me and I hope it resonates with you.
“At the risk of sounding overly sentimental, I wanted to say something to all of you. It’s so important to recognize our friends when they are gone…..and it’s also important to recognize them when they’re still here. So please allow me to use this venue to reach all of you in saying thank you for being such great people and for all that I’ve learned from you.”
From me to you: Thank you for all the support. Thank you for being here and being who you are. To all my friends and family: I am so lucky to have your love a part of my life.
