In one week so much happened. Overwhelmed with emotion it has just hit me. A new chapter in my life is about to begin, great things are about to unfold but it’s so hard to do without the immediate presence of the people that mean the most to me. The girls just left. It’s just me now. Till we meet again, I’ll be waiting on the moon.

Last seen frolicking the streets of New York City together, M and Deneice are en route  to the midwest to meet me for a mega reunion. The girlz will soon arrive and be mineeeee for a weekend filled with great adventure.

Two years of arduous research, process and discovery all culminating to one thesis defense. Today at 1130 am I went into my thesis exhibition and presented my work. An hour and a half later and I was re-greeted with harmonious congratulations from my committee.

I’d like to thank all of you that have supported me -family, friends, friends of friends, acquaintances, everyone- THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your support.

Also, big congratulations to M for finishing her first year of graduate school at USC. To Vasant who landed a job in San Diego. And to my father for all of his prosperity.

Today is the final installation day for my thesis exhibition. Tomorrow is the great, slightly terrifying, thesis defense. Wish me luck, lots of love, and hope to see you on Friday for a hopeful celebration.
